EMG Group is looking for an event organization intern to assist in the preparation of Untold Stories Conference Budapest which will take place in mid-September 2022 in Budapest.

About Untold Stories Conference

Untold Stories Conference is an annual event organized in Budapest, Hungary with a mission to create learning and networking opportunities for startups.

Having a special focus on the CEE region, it connects founders from all over the region with top-notch tech professionals and VCs from around the world through talks, fireside chats, and breakout sessions, which are designed to be crisp, hands-on and entertaining.

What's in it for you

You will have the chance to gain insights into the Hungarian startup ecosystem, meet international speakers and get first-hand experience in event organization. You will be under the supervision of our team’s Project Managers.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As an intern you will contribute to the following activities:

  • Communication and promotions: you will support our social media team in creating content;

  • Event preparations: you will help us in the preparatory steps (venue, decoration, afterparty, etc.);

  • Volunteer programme: this will be your exclusive task to build up the UNTOLD volunteer group, cool people like you who will assist us during the event;

  • Supporting us in the follow-up activities.


  • You should be fluent in English

  • Be proactive, organized, meticulous, detail-oriented and motivated

  • Love the startup world

  • Salary: 160k HUF NET

  • The internship is paid and full-time but we are also open to discussing part-time involvement.

  • The internship is for a period of 8 months starting as soon as possible.

  • Our offices are in Budapest, Graphisoft Park

On the product management workshop we will go through on how to validate an idea and launch it on the market successfully. You will hear about the most common frameworks and approaches which you can start using immediately. The workshop will cover the basics of product-led mindset, generating insights, prototyping, experimentation and a few trips & tricks for managing the actual implementation.

You will get insights how a fundraising process looks like, highlighting the specifics between seed and Series A rounds. From preparation of your pitch deck and business plan to networking with investors and understanding term sheets, this cloud be a place to learn if you would ever like to start or are in the middle of a fundraising with venture capitalists.

  • We will summarize the best practices and do nots based on our experience so you can learn from peer founders.

  • We will show you tools and structures as examples that you can apply on your own startup right away.
